If I had a watch with a 7s26 movement, and had a 7005 movement, would it be a direct replacement?

I know the 7s26 is the evolution of the 7005, but not sure if they work like this together. Thanks.

Not a direct replacement since the crown positions differ and therefore the day date wheels as well. The dials will not fit directly since they are mounted differently; the 7s26 dial pins are held in the plastic movement spacer while the 7005 are mechanically attached to the main movement plate.

Movement thickness and stem height will also be different.
