after my dinner this evening, i dropped by a local AD and saw the Seiko SARB041....
impression?.... ITS AWESOME!!!
the case design, the 'bubble' hardlex crystal, the uniquely styled bracelet... reminisce of a 1960s styling?

i tried to look for some reviews and wrist shots, but not much info out there, besides the stock photos offered by online sellers.

Do any of the kind folks here own this beauty?
Care to share some of your opinion or photos?

The SARB041 is not a popular choice among WIS but it is an excellent watch nevertheless. I have its cousins, the blue dial SARB045 and the black dial SARB033. all these watches are powered by the solid, robust and accurate Seiko automatic caliber 6r15 movement with hack and hand wind..

The SARB041 has a very definite "1960s" retro-vibe and, for me, that makes up much of its appeal. It is the only SARB that can be had with a jubilee style bracelet. Love the "hexagonal" styled case. I believe the case sides are highly polished and the dial has a very detailed texture towards the center. There is no lume on the hands and dial markers (Like the SARB 021, 045, 023, etc).

If this SARB041 "speaks to you", go for it! The quality and finish of this model should be every bit as good as any other member of the Seiko Mechanical SARB family.

I agree that it is not a popular choice.
even for me, i never thought twice about this piece when i say stock and catalogue photos of this watch.

BUT it is seriously an overlooked masterpiece. it has the same 'bubble' acrylic styled hardlex like the ever popular SARB031.

My favs are the SARB035 & SARB023 (for non-black dials).

Well, if i do get this piece, i'll definitely do a review of this piece... it deserves some sort of recognition.

thanks for your reply. i appreciate the insight.

u got a pic of the SARB045?... :)
