The watch I got was supposed to have functioning one, but it's fubar.

I've reset them before. It's fairly straightforward if a bit fiddly to set the years since leap year, month and day. Most jewelers can do it and will charge $35.00 or so. I don't know what Seiko will charge, but it's probably close to that.

actually, seller stepped up and offerd to have it fixed. so, it goes to him first;)
