Someone local made me an offer for a trade and i could not ressist so my first Orca is on it's way.

So im thinking if you guys have any good/bad thoughts about it ? and what are the strap options for it ?

Thank you for reading ;)

Great watch, huge Dial so easily readable,Eco drive which is another plus.Mines on Rubber and i prefer Bracelets yet the Ti Bracelet for it is very hard to get hold of.All in all one of Citizens Nicer Eco drives for its unusual Looks and is certainly similar in its dial design to the Actual Killer Whale Orca Markings. 8) Watch and one to definately have in anyones collection.Heres my Orca.

I've got two, a blue and a black. The black has a slightly darker case. Both are very comfortable and dramatic on the wrist. Awesome lume, and neat hands (IMHO). They're my go-to watches for trips to Sea World in Orlando :) We have season passes and I've never gone without one. I need to snap a picture of the watch near Shamu to complete the Orca effect.

It's a fun watch but I don't wear it a great deal...not that comfortable. But gains some comments when I wear it.
I feel its a watch Salvadore Dali and Mat Groening might have designed togther

Ps i have it on the original rubber and spent quite a while finding the part number for the ti bracelet only to find they wouldnt just sell it to me in the UK but I had to send watch to Citizen UK to be fitted but it would have cost me more than I paid for the watch so I didn't bother.
I am sure you will love it, but the downside is its not too comfortable

I have the Titanium model on the bracelet and just love the feel of it especially when I pick it up to put it on. It always feels warm to the touch (although living in Fiji at the moment mey help 30 degrees C most days). It feels so light on the wrist and is very comfortable.

I have the black dial and a blue dial rubber strap versions. I wear them all the time, they are comfortable and light, easily readable at a distance and underwater.

BTW, you can buy the titanium bracelets for the Orca at watches88.com ($120 or so). If you like the black version better, you could probably get the bracelet bead blasted to approximate the case.

I've bought and sold the bracelet version twice now. "I HATE YOU DON'T LEAVE ME" best sums up my relationship to the Orca. When I don't own one, I find myself staring at pictures of them online. Then I get it. I giggle like a 5 yr old. Then I wear it for a few days, enjoying it all the while, then I put on one of my Citizen auto divers and *BOING* the Orca returns to the watchbox once again.

In truth, I do love the watch. But after the honeymoon period, it just ends up not finding a place in the rotation. Very much like an ex-girlfriend you have trouble getting over...even though in your heart you know she just not right for you.

Christ, even looking at this picture makes me want to buy it again >:D
