Can you shopw a pic of the caseback markings?

 

I can't make out the movement number stamped top left, but that would give you something to trace, have you tried a Rolex forum?

 

Nice little dresser. The movement should be a 1210, from the looks mid-fifties. Since it’s a dress watch, hand wound, and not cased in an oyster it won’t fit the bill for total craze. But it’s still a very decent movement and a pretty if somewhat speckled face. Other than the missing crown, what’s the damage?

Case markings would definitely help, you may also want to check if it’s plated or solid. If solid we’re talking much different price points (not even sure if the Crown plated anything back in the Fifties). Google Rolex 1210 14k gold and you’ll see what I mean.
