I know theres a few Seikos used in some Big Films namely the Arnie Seiko used in a few of his Films like Commando,Predator.Plus in "The Abyss" Bud(Ed Harris) wore what looked Like a Seiko 6309.Then theres the Bond Films over the Years with some of the Digitals he used.Casios seem to be used in the Mission Impossible Films.Plus im sure Roger Moore wore a Seiko Tuna 600m in the film North Sea Hijack.
Has anyone got any of those used in the films and can you please maybe post some Pics.
I must admit ive not seen any Citizens used in many Films.Anyone prove me wrong on that one?
One ive wanted to know about was in Jaws Richard Dreyfuss wears what looks like a Big Divers Watch. Is It a Seiko?
My main Gripe is that the Aqualand was never used in any film ive ever seen.Shame that!!LoL.

Heres one pic i found from an old SCWF Forum post with Roger Moore wearing what looks like a Tuna.

Neil, there's a thread on WUS about that Jaws watch:

The watch has been pretty definitely identified as an Alsta Nautoscaph:

I thought that watch was a Doxa Sharkhunter? I remember the name sharkhunter from a thread, Doxa i'm foggy on... Iw atched Jaws recently, the scene where they get drunk on the boat is a classic. :)

I've followed that Jaws watch mystery for years. I think the evidence presented in the WUS thread is pretty conclusive. But just so that you don't have to read all the way through the entire thread, here's a side by side photo for your consideration.

Notice that everything about the two watches matches - the shape of the case, the shape of the hands, the shape of the dial markers, the silver bezel track from 12 to 3, the fact that there are numbers on the dial at the cardinal points (12,9,6), the fact that both watches feature a cyclops over the date, the fact that both bezels feature numbers at five minute intervals.

By comparison, the Doxa Sharkhunter only vaguely resembles the watch in Jaws.

Sam J Jones wore a yellow dialed 6139-600x in the classic 1980 camp-fest "Flash Gordon". "Flash! AH-AAHHHH!"

Ed Harris wore a blue 6139-600x as NASA Flight Director Gene Kranz in Apollo 13. Interesting that all of the astronauts are wearing the legendary Speedmaster, while their boss is wearing a Seiko. ;D Somebody had a good screen capture of it not too long ago. ---A

BTW Neilo...while Ed Harris wears a 6309, I think one of the other characters in "The Abyss" is wearing an Aqualand.

I've always enjoyed the juxtaposition of a 6138-0011 set in a time frame about 200 years after it was produced...Bicentennial Man, an otherwise thoroughly forgettable movie...although Oliver Platt was actually a bright spot in the cast.

Will this do?
A rather nice G757-5020 "Sports 100" as worn by Roger Moore in Octopussy.
:)

Kind regards
Dave

Sorry Neil, it's just a watch I cut from a picture of some military dude and pasted it in to this pic. Seems to work better than the original shot sans watch ;)
In the 60's movie Spartacus, 'Antonius' (Tony Curtis) is wearing a Rolex... The movie of course take place around 100 BC, Pretty sure that would make one heck of a vintage Rolex. :))
And that's exactly why I'll never get a Rollie - even slaves wear them

6105-811x with support from Keifer Sutherland in "A soldier's sweetheart"

Al Pacino wearing a Seiko 6139 helmet (?).

I think this might be from "Bobby Deerfield" - Not even sure I've heard of this one before ::)
Funny what google throws up ;D

Finally, not from a film, (couldn't bluff that it was during filming of Ned Kelly) but "famous" nonetheless
I actually thought this was willj28 :-[ and was envious of his cool avatar ::)

"The Lips" himself wearing a 6309.

Jean Reno might be wearing one in The Big Blue ("Le grand bleu")
You're going to have to get it out on DVD as images on the net aren't going to prove much.
Are you kidding?

Who can forget Nicole Kidman wearing a Citizen Yacht Timer in the movie,'Dead Calm?'

Or, wasn't anybody looking at Nicole?

GWB
This is not famous nor is it from a film, but the real life :)
I saw a documentary about Papua New Guinea recently. Literally the middle of nowhere. Some film-maker/photographer/scientist-crew looking for unknown species.

One of the guys (I think he was an Aussie) was wearing a SKX171. I thought it was funny, because I was wearing mine that moment.
Here's a photo of them rescuing a crocodile from their fishing net (I believe the croc's wants that Seiko, see how it looks at it!):
