SEIKO Sharkproof Plongeur. Based on 6309-7290. ;)

Here is one I did a while back:

The 729X models don't get the same love as their cushion-cased brothers, that's for sure. But they're great watches!!

I've got this one (with the quartz movement dial, hands etc from a 7549 tuna).

Cheers,

Andy

The closest I'll probably get to a vintage Seamaster 300...a 6309 Seikomaster 300!

Here's two for you...

6139-7290 with heavily shaved case, hand-enamelled rotating ring, modified crown, Noah Fuller dial (relumed), 320W10GN00 domed crystal and aftermarket 6105 style hands:

The 7548-700H "disaster watch" with another shaved case, relumed dial and hands, Planet Ocean insert, modified crown, 320W10GN00 domed crystal, sterilized back and the GREAT new "shark" mesh. Am really loving the mesh bracelet, it's meaty but so very comfy. The case and bracelet are media blasted to my favorite low lustre MIL. SPEC. style finish:

Nice mods, guys!

My latest - 729 case, heavily shaved (lugs and sides), shaved bezel, super-dome used crystal,
relumed hands and dial (dial is stealthed, no logo)

Not as elaborate as some of the others, but I like it. Here is my GMT Rally Mod (7040 dial with natuarally aged original lume, modern SKX hands, MKII GMT insert, and a Hirsch Rally strap):

Here's my offering...

it was a little beat up to begin with:

but with some TLC, a few aftermarket parts and a bespoke dial it's now this:

it's now on a jubilee, but no photos yet...
