Well, Pete K from Australia did this old girl proud. We could have waited till a NOS white face came up for sale, but i like the warm fell and patina the old tarnished dial gives the watch. The chunky crown with its heavy ribbing gives a purposeful fell and look, so the only strap I felt would do, was this Rally strap with a deployments clasp. May not be perfect but i'm in for some happy days wearing this one

I've never really cared for this dial in its pristine factory white but this is just beautiful. Like a mellow sunset after a torrential tropical storm (we get a lot of that in Florida). I am rarely envious of others time pieces but in this case I'll make an exception.
