So I'm in the progress of fine tuning this one:

(guess where I've got the new crystal from :) )

I was bored, looking at the telly ánd browsing the bay, and I found this little gem!
(seller's pics, no time for my own pics yet)

Even with the correct medaillon!

Movement ticking away @36000Bph, but in need of some clean 'n lube...

And the reason it was so cheap, loose stem, only winding possible.

Broken and cheap, that's how I like it :)

Crown looks nice though.

Other side.

And here's the zinger, I was able to see from the side under the dial the little lever thingy that is normally operated by the stem, moved it in the correct position from the side, replaced the stem and all functions seem to work again! That lever is very loose, so I'll have to look at it anyway, but there seem to be no major defects :) The crystal can be polished so that is no problem.

Some Seiko movements just seem prone to the stem release lever sticking. Both my 6117s had this issue. I'm glad you were able to sort it out quickly and easily.

Great score I saw that one on the bay and thought about it. I have a few non-Seiko COSC Chronos and a Seiko Grand Quartz to +/- 10 sec/year plus way too many silver dial Seikos, and my 36000 bph Lord Marvel scratches that itch. It all added up to not bidding.

Glad to see it went to a good home. Post pix when the project is done !
