The CR2477 is not a re-chargeable, and is a different size.7s26b said:Sony also produces an equivalent battery. The CR2477? wont work - the 1616 means its 16mm diameter and 1.6mm thick so the 24?? is 24mm diameter. Have you seen this site? How to change the battery on a Casio ProTrek Solar Powered watch it may be useful to you, cheers, Dave.
you can utilize the non-rechargeable version of CTL1616; which would be CR1616 however that is regular lithium ion non-rechargeable; there have been many watch battery replacements made using the CR1616 that seem to work just fine in place of CTL1616 watch batteries; your mileage may vary; the voltage of the CR1616 is 3.0volt lithium-ion; the battery life using the CR1616 may only last about a year and a half to one year but its a lot less expensive to replace also as well.Anyone know of an alternate storage battery for Casio Tough Solar CTL1616 - Tried the net and came up with a possible - Sony CR2477 but watchmaker thinks it is not for rechargables -
Anybody know of an alternative to the CTL16161 -
Thanks in advance -
