Hi fellow forum members,

I am currently looking for a twin quartz, and one watch is available in fine outer condition, however, this picture made me stop on my way to the "buy now" button:

This is a clear sign of a previous battery leak, is it not? Does this mean "hands off"? Or could it be fixed in a way that leaves no degradation to the watch accuracy / life span?

Thanks,

Jonas

Well Hello Jonas...well battery leakage it never good there are a few experts on here who can fix anything...i would want more detailed pics...and i would use it for a bargaining tool...it would make it worth much less...hope that helps..God Bless John
well maybe the better question to ask is?...how much are they asking?...market costs or below?...

I guess it's below price. King Quartz (Twin) for 130 Euros. But it's golden...
The same watch as a "grand quartz" in stainless is already at 200 and gaining.
I really can't justify buying it, as I would never wear it ;)

well it looked quite nice...and if you are handy...this might be a great one to negotiate if you like it...they might know there is a problem too...might be why price is less...well i know that feeling ...if you would never use it...why get it...but it is nice
