Well chaps just as well I came across this one today, Daytona yellow too.
My first car was a Daytona yellow 2 door MK1 scort. 1300XL. LYE 900K. RIP little car dude... didn't have a happy ending that one!

Anyway nice watch sorry to tramp off into memory corner geezer.

Escort in the UK was Capri in the US. I had a nice 76' with a V-6 and 4 speed. What a Sports Coupe! Wish I still had it.

Don't think so geezer. We had Capri's in the UK. The difference was you had a V6 2.8 Essex where as we had the 3.0ltr V6 essex.

I thought you had the escort in the USA. I remember seeing it possibly listed as the pinto.

Pinto's and Escorts are totally different here in the US. I also owned a few Pintos.
