I know, I can hardly believe it myself! :-D It's not a Seiko, Citizen, Orient, Alba, or even a Sandoz Hong Kong!!

If you saw my entry in the WFWF "most favorite watch of all time" contest, you know there is a certain "non-diver" style I find appealing. (Hint!)

And there is one manufacturer that is famous for their line of watches in that style. ;-)

A large box showed up the other day, so large it took me a minute or two to realize it was the watch I was waiting for!

Nestled among the polystyrene peanuts, was a corrugated cardboard wrap.

Within the cardboard, a bubble-wrap bundle.

Inside the bubble-wrap, a "twist" of tissue paper.

Ooooo, I'm starting to see something! What will it be?!?

Ta-da! It is an Oris 36mm Big Crown Pointer Date. Let's get a closer look!

Isn't that sweet? Nice cathedral hands, a very detailed dial, and it even has lume! :-D

And of course my favorite part is the pointer date hand. I just love that complication!

A very high-class case-back, and decorated 25 jewel movement too!

Since it's in the name, we have to see the nice (big) signed crown...

Wow, do I look Swiss?!? Rich? Handsome? :-D

And I think I "stole" this from our favorite auction site, just over US$300!

Okay, that's it, for my first non-Japanese unveiling in, hmm... I think it has been four or five years! Since I got the tiny Octo Swiss from Reto! Wow!

Thanks for looking!

Thanks for sharing Thomas.

Sweet watch :)

I can't tell from here if you look Swiss, rich or handsome but I can say you look like a guy who has immaculate taste in watches.
That's a lot of class for $300.

I've a huge fondness for Oris and that model is one of my favourites.
I hope it brings you much Joy.

Kind Regards

Graham
