And if you have any inkling of my collection, from Audrey Ferrera's soler Jewel Fish, mint 6306-7001s, 36000 bph Grand Seikos, to faceted VANACs, you have to wonder what *I* consider an "unusual" Seiko!! :eek:hmy:

In any case, here is the rather small EMS mailer I received toward the end of November.

Oh no!! Saitama_jp has finally decided to rip me off!

He sent me a package of dumplings instead of my watch!?!

Hmm, how "meta", a polyethylene bag about polypropylene bags??

Okay this looks back on track, a bundle of bubble wrap.

A very small "Thank You" pack was in the bubble wrap.

And finally a watch!

Ah-ha! No wonder I called it unusual, it is a 1970s manual-wind Seiko Mickey Mouse watch!

You don't see these very often and also seldom in this condition.

It is a Seiko model 5000-7000, with a 50C hand-winding, 7 jewel movement.

It didn't come with a bracelet or strap but I dug into my extensive strap bag, and found a brand new (but long discontinued) honey brown Bros Volonanto strap that fits it perfectly, both for size and color!

Okay, I hope you enjoyed that unveiling. I think you'll agree it was a very unusual Seiko!

Thanks for clicking in!
