Its been 15 months ish since ive joined this forum, i started with one watch that i have owned for over 25 years, a 6105 8110, which spent 15 of those 25 years in a drawer.
What brought me here? To find out how much it was worth of course.

I eventually got the 6105 serviced and had a set of Yobokies replacement hands and bezel insert fitted by John, "The Tiger" who made a superb job of it. Dont worry i still have the original hands and insert.

Admiring his work, i got to thinking, i so wish i could do something like that.
Ask me what a balance cock was 15 months ago, and i would have told you its something from the Kama Sutra, or 50 shades of Grey.
So i bought a cheap set of tools, and a dead 7002 off of Fleabay, researched this forum, asked lots of questions and got lots of help.
15 months on and heres the result.
With the exception of the 6105 and the 7002 7020, all of these watches were non runners and in poor condition, most of them came from Ramon.

Thankyou SCWF members for your help, and keeping me broke:grin:

Nice collection Ivor. I admire all you tinkerers. Every time I have a go at it another watch bites the dust ! I promised myself (and Mike and his Mum) that I wouldn't keep doing it, but I keep buying crap watches and they keep ending up as scrap.

Exceptional collection and well done,It's good fun isn't it. My dream is to find a ripper at a market or something. That would be nice.
