I apologise in advance if this has already been asked a dozen times!

I have just acquired a Seiko Atlas with the white dial and I would like to get the 7S36 movement replaced with an NH36 movement if possible.

Can any members tell me if this is a drop in, more or less 1:1 replacement, with like for like offsets etc?

Also, can anyone point me in the direction of a UK member that will fit and regulate said upgrade if it can be done?

Thanks for any help you can give

:)

The 4R36 swaps directly with the 7S36 but keep in mind:
A. The plastic dial ring you have now will have to come over in most cases the 4R36 won't be quite right (but it could). Easy stuff
B. Your existing stem will not work. You will need to remove the current stem, cut to length and fit up the new stem that comes with the 4R36 movement.
C. If your current stem and crown is spring loaded there may not be a way to do step B above
