Not all interchangeable?

On a more specific note, do all versions fit the case in the same way or is one larger or smaller than the other due to the slight variation?

Not sure if I have imagined this but I have come across different thicknesses of the plastic movement holders so you may have to swap them over as well as the movement.

I have also seen that 7S26B movements are a little bigger so when I replaced an A with a B in an 0040 diver the rotor did not swing freely as it catches near the crown.
