My 7C43-7010 landed today :) It is well kept and all original - including signs of use ... just as I like it to be ;) I just noticed an extra number on the caseback - where the "Battery change" text is. It reads: B0412 What does this number tell ?

Pretty sure that is not original.

Could be a stock number of some kind for an issued watch; military or otherwise.

Thats interesting - I agree with you and Pete that the number is not original, I hope somebody can shed more light on the extra numbers, and give this watch some providence!

Nice catch BTW!

Yours is not alone..Here's a couple of examples of similar casebacks from pictures I had saved on my hard drive. Not sure of the significance of the numbers. They aren't my pictures but ones that I had saved for one reason or another.
