Hi all, merry Christmas. A new visitor to the forums but if I may pick your brains.
I’m looking at picking up a 7C43-7010. However in looking at certain auction sites the 6010 seems to command a premium over its larger model. I’m just wondering if there is a significant reason for this? Do people just prefer the smaller model? Is it rarer? Still only really interested in the 7010 but I’m wondering if I’m missing something obvious?

normally the 7010 is mote expensive then the 6010 . The same with the 7548 and the 6458. the 7548 is normally more expensive because the 6458 is also a midsize .

It's just demand and supply. The mid-size sold in less quantities so there are less of them around now, and demand is picking up for that size.

Mid size Seiko do seem to be getting more love these days, maybe credit a little to "lilseikos" on IG who shows them so well?
