Hi, I've read that these movements the hands aren't interchangeable. But what about the day/date wheel? Are these interchangeable for all movements or not?
Like 7548 to 7549 or 6309? I'm talking only the day/date wheels.
I've search around but no answers.

Thanks, Dave.

Have a look on Borels Dave, the date wheel seems to be the same in them all so i would assume the day is as well (i could be wrong though :) )

Hi Dave,
Because the hand hole sizes are larger on the 7549, the day disc also has a larger hole in the center to accommodate the larger hour wheel pipe. Therefore it is a different day disc and incompatible with the 7548 or 6309. The date disc is the same, however between all three that you mentioned. Above information gleaned from Seiko parts guides.

Ok, thanks guys. I guess my search continues for my kanji day wheel for my 7549 and 6309.
Anybody have any sources I could try?

Cheers, Dave.
