Have just completed my first rebuild, I bought a lot of 4 Seiko's off the Watch Collector, 2 x 6119C's and 2 x 6309.
Pulled down and cleaned the movement of one of the 6309's polished all the rusty bits and rebuilt.
The Dial is not too bad a few marks under the centre of the hands, probably been removed at some time without much care, the crystal is scratched with a bad chip, will be replaced at a later date, the case has just been cleaned and polished no major restoration at this time.

The balance spring was deformed so I took the balance from the other 6309 and fitted it, and miracle of miracle it goes, and is keeping good time.:D

Some before & afters
