Well I know this has been discussed before. Did anyone ever devise a method to peen a 6309 click ball, so the bezel does not lift up?
Thanks

maybe its the wrong one or worn out?
check diameter against a new one with a micrometer?
i hade a bezel in one previously that was very loose and i thought it was a bezel or ball issue, it ended up being thatthe spring was broken and turned down on itself and was short. weirdest thing ive ever seen!

Well my dear friend
What I use is a very small gunsight punch with a slight cutout it for roll pins
The roll pin punch seems to work the best and they are not too hard to find
God Bless,John

Aloha Sir ,
Cajun I do it this way for ... Repairing them.
I collect and use ....... Old Spring Bar Tubes that I strip out then go doing this. Then I remove the Old Tube
that Is In There then Measure the Depth of the hole then cut the Tube To Length with a .... Flat Jewelers File.
Place a new ....Spring with new Ball into the .... New Cut Off Piece then Press it into the Case with a Staking Too
Blank Bit.
If you need more .... Picture or more Information message me and I'll send more pictures to you.
