Hey all,

I'm casually looking for a 6217 MAS. There's one on a certain auction site we all know listed at $1299. Other than perhaps arguing about the list price and the 12:00 bezel pip being gone, what's the story with this one? I see it's been listed before without sale at the same price.

Just trying to up my knowledge...

From the pictures it looks to be in reasonable condition. A couple of points though, the hole for pip seems larger than the pip in ones I own, or have owned. The minute markers are rubbed off in quite a few areas on the dial and in one of the shots the lume on the hands seems to be a different shade to that on the dial. The caseback is a little worn but the dolphin's still quite visible. Having said all that it looks completely original, but it will need a replacement crystal as it has what look like stress fractures running through it. All in all a nice Suwa made example.
