The lume on this watch had degraded to a biscuity beige colour which Duncan matched when he serviced and relumed it. He and I both thought it looked good. - Which it did, but not for long. It began to bug me.. So, after much debate in my own mind and after speaking to Duncan again we have decided that 6159's look better with white lume as they came with over 50 years ago... So, I sent it back to Duncan and I think we all agree it looks absolutely lovely now!
I continue to be impressed by and envious of the skills of some of the members here. I also applaud the preservation and continued enjoyment of such fine watches; you gentlemen are the unsung heroes of horology.
