Hi all. I cannot seem to find out much about this watch. The back says it is a 6139 6002, but I cannot seem to find any other photos of such a watch with a blue dial. Would it be fair to assume it is a "bitsa" watch. ie a bit from one watch and a bit from another.

Thanks

Well, at least a bit "bitsa" - the chapter ring does not belong in a blue watch. I don't know if the JDM models ("speedtimer" under the Seiko logo) were issued as 6002, my 6002 have the "abroad" dial with "Chronograph Automatic" under the logo. Also, the chrono minute hand seems to be not original.

Hour and minute hands are too thin too - unless they're specific to the JDM Speedtimers. More likely AM I think

Thanks for the replies. I thought it looked "wrong". In any case it keeps great time and I been wearing it for a few weeks now.

Dial is also aftermarket, same with inner bezel, and sub dial hand is incorrect.

Here's the real McCoy:
