Is the minute track/chapter ring of the black/blue 6138-8030 supposed to be white, or is it silver/chrome and reflective? I've seen both in auctions, wondering which is correct? Talking about the minute track part, not the tachymeter.

Also - I can't seem to find a comprehensive 6138 buyers guide, but there seem to be many for 6139's, and IIRC bullheads (6138's) but not the whole 6138 line?

Hi 3Pedals. I can't speak from experience with the blue/black combo, but the minute track on my bronze/black model is a shiny bronze with black text.

Looking at mine its hard to tell but I would say its shiny lacquered aluminium white:biggrin:



Probably does not help much but it is not flat white.

Is this dial being knocked off? Saw one on FleaBay the other day that had the Seiko (applied at 9 o'clock position) not left justified like in pollyc's. Actually the watch that led to my chapter ring question.
