I was loitering online and found this 4205 midsize Tuna mod on an Indonesian watch blog, it looks interesting - unsure about the fit and finish, does anybody know more about this? http://military-watch.blogspot.co.uk/2012_05_01_archive.html

Looks like a modification to me, and a new challenge for you Tiger :)

I agree, the shroud does not fit the case like I would expect from a Seiko factory design.
The caseback shot tells it all. Seiko wouldn't have curved the edges on the underside if they intended to fit a shroud. It's just like on the TST. John's work is top notch, but there's no material to work with on those bottom edges.

That's where I'll stop the comparison because, while it's a bit difficult to tell from the pics, there are a few indications that the fit and finish of this doesn't measure up to John's work.
The clue was in my post guys -"4205 midsize Tuna mod" . I know it's not original, but I wondered about it's history and build.
The 4205 case does seem like a mini SKX, and I was thinking maybe somebody used a mini-tuna shroud or made their own.
