This is a guide from 1971 for Citizen service dealers. This is similar to the Seiko Watch Technical Guide found here.

Due to the size of the document I have broken this up into different sections. Unfortunately I do not have the final section on the Apparatus and Tools.

Hi Everyone, another new member after the same info. Specifically looking for the glass size of a Citizen Navihawk GN-4-S but the manuals would be nice too. If anyone could help with both/either it would be very much appreciated.

Thanks very much for the information. I'm new to fixing (was going to say 'toying with' but thought that may offend those with a more serious view of the activity) watches and really am only looking at repairing a Citizen Navihawk of apparent vintage "made in December of 1990, 2000, 2010, 2020". It gets hard trying to find references to glass sizes, shapes and what-not, even finding an original part number seems more difficult than it should be but sites like this and people like yourself really help. Unfortunately the references are pre 1971 so not pertinent, but I'll order a movement (C300) and glass from Cousins in the UK (unless there's a better option), replace the existing glass, measure and see if I can find an appropriate sapphire replacement.
Anyway thanks very much, I was doubtful this old thread would yield much but you've proven me wrong.

For what it's worth, I use the following crystal sizes, and they fit perfectly, as in flush with the data ring, (inner set bezel), and are the same width as the original, only not domed, and generic.
Citizen Navihawk, Blue Angels, circa 1990's, C300 movement------------2.25x29.8
Citizen Blue Angels, Skyhawk, Eco drives, C650/1 movement-------------2.25x28.8
Citizen Blue Angels, Skyhawk, AT, U600 movement-------------------------2.5x33.8

Last but not least, and by far the shi##iest watch that Citizen makes, Calibre 2100------2.5x38.8

All of these dimensions are rather odd, at first glance, what the hell, why not make the case size accommodate a more logical size, like 28.5, or 29.5? You can get those all day long, very available, and in sapphire as well. I suspect it's Citizens way of more or less forcing the owner of the watch to purchase a Citizen brand crystal, from Citizen, due to the .8-.3-.8-.3 gradations. The crystals increase in diameter, same as a 29.5-30-30.5-31, they just start at .3,.5. There are quite a few sellers on Ebay, selling these generic crystals, for about 20-25 USD per. They are readily available for less than 5 USD per. I mostly buy from Jules Borel, buy more than 5, and you get a discount. That comes out to about 2.5 USD per. Also, the existing crystal gasket is almost always still serviceable. The reason for the odd 2.25mm depth on the C300, C650/1 movement watches is due to the fact that 2.5 protrudes past the data ring, and the 2.0 sits in too deep. They are available only from ST Supply, but AllWatchParts has the same width, but 2.3mm thick, for about half the price, and 2.3 still is within the 'Goldilocks Zone'.
