Thank you for encouraging, I do hope I will manage to polish it up, it is rather soft apparently, judging from scratches character. Not "hardlex" type at all.
I also will try double-domed thin crystal on it, at least temporarily while working on the stock one. See, another thing I don't like about completely flat crystals is their reflecting nature- resulting in undesired reflections and sun spots to the eyes of strangers when commuting, etc.

Citizen 67-5172 MOONDATER cal.7270 + HANDS MOD
Dear fellows, let's meet my "new" MOONDATER with updated hands. She is from Dec.1970, in all-original but well-used condition. I bought is from a fellow in Spain where it was (apparently) originally supplied by Manufacturer.
Don't you think these go very nice with index markers, adding to readability under all lightning conditions, yet not appearing alien to this (rather large) watch?
[Of course, I kept stock hands whose I decided to replace because as you might know they are too slim and bald for this particular dial].
Anyway, your feedback is welcome.
