Your Case is Very Nice-Strong OEM Lines and the Hands also Look good and Last a Beautiful Bezel. I think your 6105-8009 Resist/Resist Will be a Sought after Model in time Even though many of us prefer Proof the 6105-8009 Resist will be Collectible imo due to a Small amount made compared to Proof/Proof 8000s. She can be Beautiful because she's all there to start with imho. Russell

It is a rare combination, and one I have only seen so far on June 1970 watches. Mine is #6374.

Looks legit. Long second hand looks correct. Should probably be a 6105A movement — can’t tell from the picture. I was thinking about throwing a bid at that one myself as I don’t have a proof/proof 6105.
FWIW, Seiko apparently started the transition from “proof” to “resist” in 1970; my 6105-8000 is from June 1970 and has a “resist” dial, “proof” back, and 6105B (hacking) movement.

Looks okay to me. Here are a couple of photos of my 6105-8009 Resist/Resist for comparison.

Seiko 6105-8000 Proof/Proof... Does this look right?
So... I was bidding on a blue pogue on the bay and decided to check the sellers other listings and saw he also had a 6105-8000 ending fast. I ended up losing the blue pogue, but won the 6105-8000! It looks sharp and it has nice lines, but maybe a bit more aging on the lume than I would like but I decided to go in without much research. It's been a few years since I looked at this model so I'm not sure what to look for.
Can anyone tell me if this looks right? The sellers pics are kind of grainy but I'm hoping I did okay at the very least, and hopefully it's not franken!
Thanks in advance.
