twall3 The Sawtooth is a 7n36 movement, if I recall. Get yourself a whole new movement for around $15-$20 USD. They're cheap and not meant to be worked on like the older Seiko quartz movements...

Likely, the setting lever has broken. Or the castle gear may have fallen out of place.
Try putting the stem/crown back in with the dial facing up. Tap the watch gently before to push the stem/crown back in.

If that doesn't work then the watch will have to be at least partially dismantled to find and fix the problem.

I recently managed to pull the crown and pin out of my sawtooth and although I replaced it again I can't change the date any more. What's wrong?
