Take note this thread was last posted to over 7 years ago until today !

And SurfingSeiko has only one post in the last 4 years, although it was a few weeks ago so maybe he'll 'surf' over and see this.

Like said above, post your wanted to buy (WTB) post in the Trading Forum and I will keep my fingers crossed for you.

You need to make a post in the Wanted to Buy/Sell section of this forum. I'm not sure if you need a minimum number of posts before you can do this.

Nice!

I just saw a non-working from a watchmaker but has faded bezel.

Re: My Dad's old SEIKO

The watch was manufactured in April 1979 at Seiko's Daini factory in Japan (see the little symbol below Silverwave on selym's provided photo -- that identifies the Daini factory).

Re: My Dad's old SEIKO

There a lot of Seiko 7123-82xx models out there. Some one here must have a photo of one like it?

I have a Seiko Sports 100 7123-8219. Here she is. I also have A silver dialed 7123-8370 Sports 100 and a gold dial Sports 100 7123-823H.

I purchased this one in....I think 1981. I could dig up the paper work but some other time.

Can you post a photo of it. Welcome to the madness.

Also would you know if my new Automatic would have been made in Japan please?

Thanks for your help.
What model is your new automatic?

Re: My Dad's old SEIKO

Does it look like this (photo found on Internet)?

Judging by the serial number, it was made in April of 1979 or 1989. I'm not familiar enough with these to know which decade they were made in.

By the way, many of the material houses in the States appear to stock parts for this model.

Best wishes,
Myles
