SOLD SEIKO Titanium MIDSIZE V32-0P00 / SKG189P1 / SKG165P ? £65 shipped globally
I am moving this on due to it being just a TAD small for my big wrists.
I once saw one of these on the internet, Googled away Titanium Seikos ever since searching, and finally landed one. However, they ARE not the biggest watch in the world, and comes in at around 36.5 to 37 mm without the crown, and 39-ish mm with the crown.
There is slight confusion over the serial / reference number on this, as they do appear to be quite rare. Searching for V32-0P00 / SKG165P and SKG189P1 does appear to show up some info.
I think that the black one here is rarer than the white / silver dial models, especially in non-chronograph variant, which I have also never seen for sale.
Model : SKG165P (that's ?)
Type : Sports
Metal : Titanium
Movement : Quartz
Seiko Titanium 100m
Water resistant 10 bars
Flat Hardlex crystal
Movement made in Japan
Case width including crown: 39mm
Case thickness: 8mm
This watch retailed (when readily available) at $195 usd.
The bracelet is slightly different on the black ones, appears titanium, but is shiny between the links. I have seen another pic on the web of one of these, and it does have the same bracelet, so it IS correct to the watch, just not the same as the one on the white version linked above.
The battery is working fine, as is the watch, I don't know when it last had a battery change, that is of course the risk with quartz. Just thought I'd add that, potential buyer please take note.
In good condition, though Titanium is an odd bird of a metal. It has general very light swirlies to it, and has marks on the clasp. It also has a mark (more like a scuff) on the bezel area around the 11 mark, nothing major, just worth a mention. I've tried to catch in in pics but it is hard. But it is there.
So it does have that general feel which Titanium pieces do, and the metal is how they are... they tend to have gentle scuffs anyway (in my experience), and behave differently than steel.
It's VERY light in weight due to it being midsize and Titanium.
So the watch in general is in a good (not mint) condition, and described honestly.
I'd like NOW SOLD £75 including Recorded Delivery (to track) postage for this, UK price. Will post to the ROI for the same, and Globally for an extra £5. I'll stand any risk if it goes missing.
PayPal (no fees to me this end, any method) or Bank Transfer would be great.
Many thanks to the forum for the facility here. Much appreciated.
Hopeless iPhone pics:
with these being taken as recently as Sunday....
