Another BellMatic Newbie

Dear Comrades,

I saw a Bell matic for sale on the sales corner, and I fell in love with this awesome model! And you can guess what is next >:D .

All right, a few very quick questions:

1 - Is the alarm spring wound manually (Separately from main mechanism) or wound automatically?

2 - Does the watch vibrate when it is alarming?

3 - Is it, generally speaking, loud or vibrant enough to wake you up?

I will be grateful if you could enlighten me, please. If these items were discussed previously, please forgive me; then if you could type the link(s), it will be great, please.

Very Best Regards . . .

Capt. Serdal,

Q&As:
For all questions, I suggest starting with the top three BELLMATICS FORUM pinned posts and the following link.

1 - Is the alarm spring wound manually (Separately from main mechanism) or wound automatically?
Yes.
2 - Does the watch vibrate when it is alarming?
Yes.
3 - Is it, generally speaking, loud or vibrant enough to wake you up?
Depends on the person. Likely not loud enough to wake the majority of persons from a sound sleep.

Best from a fellow BELLMATIC newbie,
Mike

Welcome to the realm of Bell-Matics, Capt Serdal!

I would suggest you first get an overview on which case style you like best.

In my opinion, the Bell-Matics offer a style for every taste, be it classical case styles, large cushion cases, smaller pieces with hooded lugs or integrated bracelet case styles.

The SCWF photo database should be a good resource too!
When you are ready to buy feel free to discuss the watch in question, there are a number of members here (I am including myself there ;-)) who are very keen on these little ringing beasts!

Best,
Hermann

Dear Hermann,

Thank you so much for this very noble help you are providing! I really appreciate your precious time, my friend.

I have been searching the net, and our forum at the moment, and I will ask more questions. So be prepared for the newbie question bombardment :)) . I promise you, it won't take too long for me to choose, and ask your very valuable help to spot / hunt one.

Very Best Regards . . .

Capt. Serdal
