Lightbulb Replacement...bezel? on the SNK809

Hi everyone. I'm new to this forum so I'm not sure if I'm posting in the right place. Apologies in advance to the mods if there's a more appropriate sub-forum.

I chipped the bezel on my SNK809 somehow.

I'd like to try replacing it, and dip my toes into modding, maybe even swap out the flat crystal for a domed crystal. My question is, where do you even find replacement bezels for the SNK809?

You can't replace it as it's part or the case on these. I had a couple a while ago and seem to remember being faced with the same issue. The crystal comes out through the back once the movement is out.

Best to buy a new watch and sell that or wear it and not worry about it. Or mod it by sanding and polishing the 'bezel' etc without worrying about it.

Welcome by the way!

If the crystal goes in from behind does a domed one fit OK then Guy? and does it go into a nylon gasket? Just asking because I like these little watches and might tinker with one myself some day, I like the stock dial and hands.

Are you sure the crystal goes in from the back?
Here is a tutorial video on crystal change in the actual watch

Amazing video. 15 minutes jump between placing the crystal on and getting it there . I think he went to the watchmaker to get it pressed on properly.
But it shows that the crystal comes out the front.
