Default 5625 chronometer restoration question

I have this little butterface. Is such a dial repairable? She runs nicely and I have come to love her wrinkles but if it were possible it would be nice to see a return to past glory. Any ideas from the team much appreciated.

I forgot to say that I have seen a lovely non runner for sale but they want £250 for it.

From what I can gather dial restoration is very tricky and hard to do - but I don't have any personal experience with it. It might just come down to web searches for dial repair gurus. Maybe ask a local repair guy whom they would trust for a dial refurb. They all seem to have their own informal networks. Or you can contact the official Seiko service center in NJ ---> seikoserviceusa dot com (I'm a newbie so it won't let me post a direct link, apparently).

Sorry, this really isn't much help. But I'm interested like you. I have some dials that could use some help but have kind of been on the fence about it. If you make any headway please post a follow-up.

Sent an email to the USA Seiko service center (it's in NJ) re dial repair/restoration. I'm sure it would be pricey if they do it at all. They said they don't give estimates w/o inspecting the item itself but I asked for a range anyway. We'll see. Mine would be simple; some white paint, black the hour numbers, lacquer and lume. At least it sounds easy, ha. Surely someone must be handy at it. If Seiko USA replies I'll post it.
