Default Problems with two 6139 Speed-Timers

Hi

My name is Holger I'm from germany/munich and that's my first post here.

I've got two 6139 Speed-Timer with the same problem.
The chronograph ist running much faster than the normal time.
30 minutes day/24H

I think the error is the second wheel or the central chronograph wheel.
Or are this the same parts?

My questions - where can I buy a new second wheel/central chronograph wheel?
And can I use this from a 17 jewels movement or must it be from the 21 jewels version?

Thanks
Holger

Chronograph wheel wear see PollyC's answer here

https://www.thewatchsite.com/21-japan...-question.html

Difficult to find new wheel you will probably have to get one from an old movement needing repair

Thanks Melt

I've heard about the problem with the 6139

Is there a Seiko part number for the clutch or wheel that I need?
6139A/6139B compatible?

Ebay 401115418853

Thanks!

Interesting links

I previously thought that the 6138A has always 17 jewels and the 6139B 21 jewels.

No, the length of the staff is different between the A & B version. The wheel diameter etc is same.
