Default King Seiko 5625-7000 - how take movement out ?

This King Seiko open trough the glass. It also has a regulator screw between the lugs.

The project is to change the glass (300V04GNS), but opening it I see the case has some rust that needs cleaning.

I removed the bezel, glass and the stem.

Where can I find instructions on how to take the movement out ?

Thanks,
Sven.

In Duncan's blog post on the service of my front-loading 8306 he mentions the case locking circlip needs to be rotated to allow the movement to come out. I've no idea if the same applies to your 5625 though.

Glad you got it sorted.
Out of interest, how did you deal with the rust?

Hi Sven,

I have the same watch and I am hoping to do the same as you did (removing the crystal).

I was wondering if removing the bezel was easy and if it would work with such tool (see pic attached) ?

Thanks !

Seiko recommendation:

I think a small snap back case opener tool would also work fine.
