Default Help needed for 9943-8030 case back removal

Hi All

I have recently purchased a GQ 9943-8030 and need to remove the case back. To this end there appears to be two types. I have the one which has a small square notch at 11 oclock and i'm not sure if this is a screw on or snap on type and what type of tool I need to open it?

Any help with this greatly appreciated

It's a snap back. The notch is to realign the case back.

Is there not somewhere for the case knife?

The Casing guide which covers this, is available in the forum archive.

I would expect a slot for a razor blade on the case back at 9 o'clock if it is anything like the 0903 and such cases.
