Default Help with second hand skip on a 7123 movement

I have this 7123-823f that was dead. I changed the coil and top plate. It keeps time but the second hand skips.

I had hoped to change the movement with the two spares I have but the crown is in the wrong place.

I also turned what I think is a trimmer screw. It is running slow. Is clockwise fast or slow?

Any ideas?

Second hand skipping is normally low battery. Did you fit a new battery. The LR1120 battery looks wrong, it should be a 390 which is 3mm high. LR1120 is 2mm high.

I suspect the trim is much the same as the 7548 which is clockwise to gain.

Also the battery tang should sit down the side.

Thanks, battery is new. It is running normally now. I will try the 390 to see if it make a difference

Success I hope! Switched to a 390 and moved the tab down. Running well so far

If the bezel free turns, is the click ball in the bezel stuck or gone?

Thanks for the help.

Ok, I will pop it off and see if it is a ball or spring
