So here is a question to all you folks who do watch repair/renovations. Is there a Timegrapher database that shows known problems in watches and how these can be detected by a Timegrapher. For example, here is a snapshot of a Bullhead 6138 after I regulated it. Its recent service history is not exactly known, probably sometime in the last 10 years. I fully wound it but the amplitude is a little low and the time would accuracy wander up and down. When it got below 1/2 power it would get a little noisy and slow some.
So this tells me that the gear train is dragging just a bit and that it might be due to get a service in the near future. But nothing bad is happening overall. Is this right? What other issues can be documented? Is this useful? ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
