Default Balance spring

Does anyone do any balance spring work? I have a WWII German Army Syntakt watch that has a totally fubared hair spring. It came with the watch but literally was a knotted ball. Obviously there's no way of sourcing a genuine part for this. Do any of you fellas match up springs and do that type of work? I've already done a complete service on it, I'm stumped here though. (Yes, I have been careful handling that dial. It looks like lume dots around the dial.)

Good news is, it’s a swiss movement, so it’s not impossible to find. Unitas caliber 174. If it was german, might as well give up.
