Default Help identifying this movement.

Can someone identify this movement for me? It's on the way, just not sure what it is.

Looks to me, to be one of the 70xx chronograph movements.
7016 or 7018.

I would agree that it's a 7016/18 also but, doesn't look to be much left of it though.

Thanks, that's what I was thinking. It's not a 613X but does have a sub.

Thanks, it's a start, I buy bits until I have enough to build something. Saw this and threw up an opening bid of $4.98 that was the only one. It'll go into the parts bin and I'll add to it until it's complete and I can put something together.

Its definitely not a 6139, theres a number stamped in the balance wheel well which ive only ever seen on Daini movements and afaik not on Suwa movements. Also it has eccentric screw studs to hold the dial feet, typical 70xx.
7016/18's have a sub, 7015/17's dont

Thanks Ivor. I knew the 7015/17's don't have a sub. I'm aiming to put a Monaco together and hopefully the $5 was worth it for a start with the movement. We'll see when it comes in, I've yet to see either in the flesh so it's a new avenue for me.
