Seiko 2606 17,21,23,25 Jewel counts
Any ideas on where the extra jewels are placed, and if they are of any real value (other than allowing a larger jewel count number on the dial ).
I've heard the lower jewel counts were for export models to evade import duties on 'luxury' high jewel count watches, and the 25s were used on Japanese Domestic Market pieces.
