7548-700B in need of repair
This is my father's old SKX which is what got me into watch collecting. However it has been in-operational for five years and Seiko NJ couldn't repair it. They stated the parts were too old.
I am very interested in fixing this watch as it has high sentimental value.
Thanks for viewing,

Where are you located ? Nice Watch
The Diver's Bezel is the single greatest accomplishment of mankind. While the tachy scale is one of the least useful inventions ever. Not an argument.

Most of the parts for the case (gaskets, o-rings, etc) can be found online. If the movement is damaged, worst case is that you buy a parts watch with a good movement (the 7546 movement is essentially the same as the 7548, just much more common and inexpensive). If you're handy, you can do it yourself for under $50. If you aren't, plenty of folks here on the forum who could help (myself included)
