Default Seasonal Watches?

So I have a gold dial Pogue that I absolutely adore. Got it a few weeks ago and Ive already gotten a ton of wear out of it, especially since the weathers been nice and its a very bright, fun watch. It also helps that I have it on a tan leather strap which I feel gives it even more of a summery vibe.

To make a short story long, Im wondering if the watch wont look as nice once the weather turns gloomy. My winter wardrobe tends to be a bit darker and I think that gorgeous gold dial and Pepsi bezel might stand out a bit too much.

So for those of you more fashion-knowledgeable than me: do you switch out your watches depending on the season? Any tips on changing out straps/bands depending on the time of year?

Yes. I tend to wear less bracelets and more straps in the winter. The bracelets get cold. I'll pick watches with a lower profile since I'm wearing long sleeves. Large Divers don't work under a glove and sleeve. It's more practical than fashion.

I find that I tend to change out my watches much more depending on mood rather than wardrobe although I can see the interest in doing that. I find that I change out strap (colors)more based on the watch rather than the clothes I'm wearing at the moment. The type of strap for comfort too rather than matching. I have seen strap colors that went well with certain bracelets of similar and coordinating colors such as stainless or braided paracord. That's one reason I love current and vintage watches so much, they adapt to mood so well !

I do find myself attracted to more cozy, conservative watches on leather straps in winter, and more conspicuous watches on flashy bracelets in the summer.

I also believe it's more of a mood thing than a fashion thing, but it definitely is seasonal.

With that being said, whichever watch is my current favorite will get more wrist time regardless!
