Default What car boots/Flea market finds have you had lately ?

I never tend to find watch stuff but i'm always on the look out for quality tools, last Sunday I found this Mitutoyo digimatic metric 0-25 mike for £2.50, covered in surface rust and grunge but a bit of wire wool and WD40 and a now good bit of useful kit, I already have a few digimatics but another never goes amiss

Very nice! My latest find on a sweltering market in France is this weird Dynamo light, said to be from ww1?

Very nice John - I have the exact same one. My dad was a machinist (tool & die) in the auto industry in Detroit and spent his life on a Bridgeport mill. As a kid I remember his big wooden tool box with all his tools. Much of it vanished years ago but I managed to keep a few pieces including his mike. All Japanese and Swiss made gear. I use the verniers all the time. thanks for sharing - great to see this stuff and appreciation for it. Tool and die is becoming a lost art the way my dad did it .....
