Default Who else has "Po' Boys"? Let's see some.

The forums are usually full of some rather expensive collectibles. Who else also has 'Po' Boy watches? Those that you just like even though you couldn't get $5 for it on E-Bay.

I got this Bolivia with a watch lot, beautiful 'Tiger Eye' dial. Auctions on E-Bay are full of 0 bids for these though, not even for $5. I don't really care it has 0 jewels and can't be given away, I love the dial on it and it runs great.

Here's a nice little Timex I picked up in a junk store for $5. I fixed it up (new second hand and a crystal polish) put a strap on it, and it's probably still only worth $10.

Nice Timex, I have a couple. Timex sucks for customer service though. I have a nice looking dress Timex that has a broken crown. I've contacted customer support a half dozen times just to find out what model it is so I can look for the right part. E-mailed pictures as asked, never heard back. Horrible customer service. I guess we're the only ones willing to admit we have cheap watches too.

Most of my watches are like that, as I only own two of any real value (and even they aren't that expensive). I have a soft spot for this one. It cost 7.11, and I won it on eBay. Circa 1940 and still accurate to a minute a day.

I picked up this non working hand winding Lator off eBay for a few dollars several years ago, mainly to learn the craft. It looked terrible, with remnants gold plate on the case and band, and a severely scratched crystal. Gold plate now removed, crystal polished and now ticking reliably. The sun glints discreetly off the remaining inner gold chapter ring and still gives it some zing.
Although it's rough around the edges, it's one of the favourites in my small collection of non Seiko timepieces.

Cool watches. Like the look of that Bentley, and the dial on that Lator is great. Thanks for sharing fellas.

Nice! The Caymens are absolutely beautiful. Check out this thread, that's me snorkeling off Grand Caymen in 2000 wearing my 7A28. The same watch in my avatar over there <<<<<<<<

This Bulova smooth sweep hand 265 KHz beauty, $125 from Amazon (actually using my Amazon Prime points, it cost me $28.) , on leather strap, screw down crown, 100m WR. Mine is running at +6 seconds a YEAR, not a day!

Added the Shark Mesh to make it pool ready!
