Default Bulova Moonwatch...best deal in ages

Many guys found this watch of 44mm too wide so they sold it off....get one if you can! A homage rather than replica, this has the quartz 262hz accuracy movement.

For sure, we got in on a watch that will be more appreciated in the future.
Perhaps a niche kind of watch, like the original Orange Monster was to me, I found the Bulova moonwatch nicer to own than the Omega I had and recently traded.

I just traded my Omega Moonwatch- call me nuts! hahah! For sure Omega has history and the watch itself is well made. The Bulova Moonwatch discovery came around 40 years later, and Bulova last year decided to make a few homages introduced at Basel 2016, I believe. The watch came out and cost around $400+. There were two versions: the one with bracelet and the other with 2 straps.

After guys bought them, they complained the 44mm width size was just too big for their wrists and sold them. Used prices appeared from $270 to $400. I examined the watch and saw that it had the lever style pushers of the original. My 1985 German Tutima Mil chrono also has this style. Bulova installed its new quartz technology called 262Khz along with a date window. I bought mine used and shipped to Japan for only $440.usd.

After opening up the package and finding the 2 types of straps, the box quality, the watch itself quality, I was amazed that Bulova could sell this watch at such a reasonable price. In fact all their watches have a good price point. Bulova has its headquarters in New York. Of course Citizen bought the company rights, but it is really nice to see the Bulova name once again appear!
The second nylon velcro strap....pretty cool huh!

Look at the beautifully designed case and crystal. Some guys complain it is too high but not really a problem IMO

That is a really well executed design. Well done by Bulova.
