Exclamation 007 Modification questions

I am awaiting the arrival (from COSERV) of a 7s26 movement black day/date wheel to swap out on my 007

how difficult is this?

I have some watch insides experience.

Also, I will be changing the 007 dial/hands for a SKX-779 dial/hands.

I realize the integrated SKX-779 monster dial chapter ring may need to be removed as I'm retaining the existing 007 chapter ring. I see 2 variations form the net attached one with the integrated chapter one without. Any experience in this mod would be helpful.

Merry Christmas

The original monster chapter ring is attached to the dial.
I have seen many monster dial w chapter mod into SKX007, however the chapter ring needs to squeeze alittle.

The other is to do without the monster chapter ring (there will be exposed holes on the dial) while retaining the SKX ones.

All you need to do is pull off the plastic dial ring, the exposed holes are not too noticeable.

My preference is to remove the monster dial ring and use the SKX one because the dial looks bigger that way. It's a simple enough mod and reversible.

Swapping the day/date wheels is a matter of removing the retaining clip off the hour wheel and removing the screws to remove the date guard and on reassembly ensuring the jumpers are located in the day wheel star and date wheel teeth. I manouver them using a sewing needle.
